Next, we move to Ubud, a favorite spot known for its natural beauty, art, and culture. Ubud is also a popular culinary destination in Bali. Check out the guide to Ubud Bali and its surroundings for exciting attractions.
Finding affordable and tasty food in Ubud can be challenging despite the many options available.
One of my favorite places to eat in Ubud is Warung Nasi Ayam Ibu Mangku, at Jalan Raya Kedewatan Number 18, Kedewatan – Ubud. This warung, open from 07:00 to 21:00, offers a unique dish: halal Balinese mixed rice. This dish includes chicken meat, chicken satay (grilled chicken skewers), Balinese long bean salad (lawar kacang panjang), egg, and peanuts. A portion costs around Rp 35,000 (approximately USD 2.40). I highly recommend trying this authentic Balinese dish during your visit to Ubud.

5. Warung Nasi Ayam Men Weti Sanur
After exploring Kuta, Canggu, and Ubud, let’s discuss Sanur. If you’re staying in Sanur and looking for affordable halal breakfast spots in Bali, a place serving authentic halal Balinese cuisine is Warung Nasi Ayam Men Weti. Explore more about the travel guide to Sanur Beach, Bali.
Moreover, the Nasi Ayam Men Weti menu is perfect for breakfast if you’re tired of fried rice or bread. This warung is open from 07:00 to 13:00. Its strategic location is near Segara Ayu Beach, on Jalan Segara Ayu, Sanur.
Warung Nasi Ayam Men Weti is always busy. Therefore, you must queue if you want to eat here. If you want to take it away, you still need to queue. However, if you prefer to dine in, find a table and seat. If none are available, wait until others finish eating.
Above all, the appeal of the Nasi Ayam Men Weti menu lies in its spicy red chili sauce and crispy chicken skin. Also, the warung offers only one halal Balinese mixed rice dish featuring chicken meat, chicken skin crackers, a mix of bitter melon vegetables, peanuts, egg, and chicken satay (sate lilit). 6. Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki Nusa Dua
Next, we move to Nusa Dua. If you skip breakfast and head to Tanjung Benoa for watersports, you can have breakfast at Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki, one of the affordable halal breakfast spots in Bali.

This well-known warung has two branches: one in Jimbaran and one in Nusa Dua. I tried the Nusa Dua branch because I had always wanted to try Nasi Padang Rindu Rasa when I was in Jimbaran.
Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki Nusa Dua is at Jalan Siligita No.27, Nusa Dua Bali, and is open from 07:00 to 21:00.
The warung offers only one menu: spicy or non-spicy chicken betutu rice. Betutu is a traditional Balinese dish where chicken is marinated with spices and then steamed or roasted. This menu includes betutu chicken, chicken satay, long bean salad, peanuts, and boiled egg. If dining in, don’t forget to order chicken soup, as it’s very delicious. 7. Rumah Makan Rindu Rasa Jimbaran
Furthermore, Rumah Makan Rindu Rasa is renowned for its authentic Padang cuisine from West Sumatra, Indonesia, and is one of the top affordable halal breakfast spots in Bali. Some well-known Padang dishes include rendang (spicy beef stew), ayam pop (steamed chicken), and gulai (a type of curry). This restaurant has two branches in Bali: one in Jimbaran and another in Nusa Dua. Despite the identical menus, I find the Jimbaran branch superior in taste.
Located at Jalan Uluwatu II, No. 33, Jimbaran, Bali, Rumah Makan Rindu Rasa is open from 09:00 to 24:00. It’s conveniently situated near the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, making it an accessible dining option. “Don’t miss a visit. Check out the guide to visiting Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park in Jimbaran.”
Moreover, prices here vary based on your menu choices. Although slightly more expensive than other Padang eateries in Bali, the restaurant’s cleanliness and food quality are highly satisfying.
The flavor profile at Rumah Makan Rindu Rasa Jimbaran is a bit different from traditional Padang cuisine—it’s sweeter and less spicy, which aligns well with my taste preferences.

8. Nasi Pecel Bu Tinuk Tuban
Warung Nasi Pecel Bu Tinuk is very popular among Indonesian tourists, likely due to its strategic location near Ngurah Rai Airport. I visited this place out of curiosity. It’s open from 08:00 to 22:00, making it an excellent choice among affordable halal breakfast spots in Bali.
The eatery is spacious for a dining place in the Kuta tourist area. “If you’re in Kuta, read the List of 6 Halal Dining Spots in Kuta Bali at Affordable Prices.”
Upon entering the warung (small restaurant), you’ll see a food counter with various menu options. You can select your favorite dishes from the counter.
Above all, the menu mainly features East Javanese cuisine, including specialties like pecel (a traditional Javanese salad with peanut sauce), ayam kalasan (Javanese fried chicken), tempeh bacem (sweet marinated tempeh), and bebek goreng (fried duck). Drinks are also available. After selecting your food, you pay at the cashier based on your chosen menu.

9. Warung Bunana Seminyak
For a diverse menu, I included Indian cuisine in the list of 10 affordable halal breakfast spots in Bali. If you enjoy teh tarik (tea with milk) and roti canai (Indian flatbread), try Warung Bunana Seminyak on Jalan Sunset Road No. 28, Kerobokan, North Kuta, by the roadside.
The warung is open from 10:00 to 22:00. My favorite dishes are roti canai, chicken curry, and hot teh tarik. For one person, the food prices range from Rp 25,000 to 40,000. The food is delicious, and the teh tarik is excellent. However, be prepared to wait, as all food is prepared to order, which can extend the waiting time.
Search on Google Maps: Warung Bunana Seminyak.
10. Warung Wardani Denpasar
Finally, among the 10 affordable halal breakfast spots in Bali, Warung Wardani Denpasar is one of my favorites and highly recommended. The mixed rice menu at Warung Wardani Denpasar is my top choice. I’ve lost count of how often I’ve eaten here, even though it’s far from where I live.
Warung Wardani Denpasar is located at Jalan Yudistira No.2, North Denpasar. It is open from 08:00 to 16:00. Warung Wardani also has a branch in Tuban near Ngurah Rai Airport, specifically at Jalan Waringin No.4, Tuban. However, I haven’t eaten at the Tuban branch yet.
The main menu at Warung Wardani Denpasar is nasi campur (mixed rice), which includes a variety of dishes on a single plate. Other menu options include gado-gado (Indonesian salad with peanut sauce), chicken soup, beef tripe soup, and curry rice.
However, every time I visit, I always order nasi campur. The price of a nasi campur portion at Warung Wardani Denpasar depends on your chosen package. I often order the Mixed Rice Package IV at IDR 60,000 per portion. Although it’s relatively expensive, the taste always makes me ignore the price.
To find Warung Wardani Denpasar’s location, search on Google Maps with the keyword Warung Wardani Denpasar.
