Guidance On Kuta Tourism Area
Many vacationists are confused about the Kuta area. Because the Kuta area can mean an urban village, it also implies a sub-district. When you mention Kuta Beach, Waterbom Park Kuta, the scope area is within the Kuta urban village area. To clarify, the Kuta urban village location is in the Kuta sub-district, Badung Regency, Bali.
Besides the Kuta sub-district, Badung Regency also covers the South Kuta sub-district and North Kuta sub-districts. Therefore, don’t confuse the three sub-districts because of their different area.
- Kuta sub-district. Example area, Kuta urban village (Kuta Beach, Waterbom Park), Seminyak, Legian.
- South Kuta sub-district. Examples of tourist areas in the South Kuta sub-district include Pecatu, Ungasan, Kutuh, Benoa, Tanjung Benoa, and Jimbaran.
- North Kuta sub-districts. While the North Kuta sub-districts include Kerobokan, Tibubeneng, and Canggu.
That is why I saw plenty of content regarding a guide on things to do in Kuta on the internet, including a wide coverage area. It covers activities in Seminyak, Ungasan, and Tanjung Benoa, which is in a different domain from Kuta Urban Village.
Therefore, to give accurate guidance, the 10 best things to do in Kuta on this page are the activities only located in the Kuta urban village. Thus, it makes each location of things to do in the Kuta area close to each other.
If it covers the Kuta sub-district, Seminyak tourist attractions must also be included because Seminyak is within the area.

Why Knowing the Kuta Tourism Area Is Essential?
When I travel to certain places, I need to know the choices of activities or attractions in a particular area, with the locations close to each other. Therefore, knowing that each event is close, I can spend my vacation time productively instead of spending my holiday time in the car.

The Attraction of Kuta Bali Tourism Area
Firstly, for every tourist who wants a vacation to Bali for the first time, Kuta tourist attractions will always be a priority to be visited. Many exciting things make tourists wish for a vacation to the Kuta Bali area. The most popular activities tourists look for when on holiday to Kuta are the beauty of Kuta beach, nightlife, and shopping activities.

Is Kuta Worth a Visit While on Vacation in Bali?
Above all, Kuta Bali is one of the famous tourist attractions in Bali. Therefore, the Kuta area is always crowded with tourists. These make the road traffic in the Kuta area crowded with vehicles.
If you don’t like crowds, you don’t like parties and clubs, and road traffic jams concern your mood, you should not have a vacation to Kuta Bali. Instead, visiting Ubud, Sanur, Nusa Penida Island, and Lembongan Island would be best.
But on the contrary, if you like to hang out, love parties and nightlife, enjoy gathering in crowds, and love shopping activities, Kuta is a must-visit destination in Bali.

How Far is Kuta Beach from Bali Ngurah Rai Airport?
Kuta tourist area is extensive; to determine how far Kuta is from Ngurah Rai Airport, I use Kuta beach as a benchmark. From Ngurah Rai Airport to Kuta Beach, you will need 15 – 20 minutes with 5 kilometres to travel a distance.
See Here, “Distance & Travel Time from Ngurah Rai Airport to Kuta Beach” >>>
Airport Transportation & Fees
If your hotel is in the Kuta Bali area, then for transportation from the Bali airport to Kuta, you can use the Blue Bird taxi. Blue Bird taxi is widely available at the arrival terminal exit gate.
How much does a Blue Bird taxi cost from Ngurah Rai Airport to Kuta? A taxi from the airport to the Kuta beach area costs around IDR 120,000 / taxi. Online taxis are also available at Ngurah Rai airport, and basically, the fare is almost the same as a bluebird taxi.
You also can arrange airport pick-up from your hotel. However, if you have reserved a tour package in Bali, the chances are your tour package has included an airport shuttle service.
What Is The Best Way To Go Around Kuta Bali?
In my opinion, the best way to get around the Kuta Bali area is by scooter. Of course, there is a reason riding a motorbike is the best transportation choice to get around Kuta Bali.
Unlike motorcycle parking, finding a car park in the Kuta tourism area is complex. Many motorcycle parking areas are available in the Kuta beach area.
It would be different if you use a car with a driver than the driver who has found a parking space. Therefore, if you want the convenience of using a car and do not want to be complicated in finding a parking slot, you should use car rental services in Bali with a driver.

1. See the Beauty of Kuta Beach Sunset
The main attraction to vacationing in Kuta Bali is sitting and relaxing on Kuta Beach while waiting for the sunset. To be comfortable sitting on the Kuta beach, I usually rent a pair of sundecks for IDR 50,000 (a local price). By using a sundeck, I can lie down comfortably.
